What is The Fast and the Furious about?

Exhilarating and fast paced, The Fast and the Furious has a resonant story about motor racing at its core. The central figure is actor Paul Walker and the film brings to light the harsh realities of the Asian automotive import sector. City cop Brian O'Connor is told to bring down a group of thieves, who use Honda Civics that have been modified to steal merchandise by building an alliance with a group of street racers. He gets stuck in a street racing event in the desert in a 1970 Dodge Charger and has to race former convict Dom Toretto. In the final scenes Dom is injured and Brian lets him escape instead of putting him in jail for his actions because he has developed a friendship with him throughout the course of the movie. The action picture delivers on its promise to provide spectacular scene shots and entertainment.

A summary of The Italian Job.
Anybody with a slight interest in cars and prestigious movies will have heard of The Italian Job. The British film has collected a massive following and modern versions of the picture, first released in 1969, have since been made starring big names like Mark Wahlberg and Charlize Theron. Award-winning actor Michael Cain plays the main role. The character he plays, called Charlie, creates a team of thieves to steal gold bars from the Italin city of Torino using three Mini Coopers, a bus and two Jaguars. Many car chases follow through the sewers, rooftops, city streets, rivers and highways. Charlie's team do get hold of the gold in the end but their bus starts skidding on the road and they are left wobbling over the edge of a cliff - the end credits start playing as the team decide how to save their lives as well as the gold.
